Cub Scout Day Camp PDF Print E-mail

It's time to think about summer camps!  We have two day camps that our Cub Scouts can attend- Egg Harbor City Lake is from July 16-20 in Egg Harbor (out Rt. 50), and Lake Lenape, located in Mays Landing, is July 30-August 3.  Both of these camps offer excellent programs, as well as rank instruction in science and nature, Scout Skills, BB's and archery, and field sports.  Egg Harbor City Lake also offers swimming on a daily basis, allowing the Scouts to work on their swimming requirements.  Both of these camps run from approximately 8:30am-4pm, and before and after care is available at an additional cost.  The fee for a great week of fun in the outdoors is $175 per Scout, and there are discounts available.  If you register and pay before April 30th, the fee is $150 for camp.  If a parent volunteers to work the entire week at camp, you will receive a $50 refund for camp.  And if we have 40% of our Pack donate funds to the Friends of Scouting campaign, every Scout that attends camp will receive a $15 discount as well!  Check your email for more information on camp as it gets closer.

At Pack 94, we are extremely proud that we only hold two fundraisers a year for the Pack- Popcorn is a National fundraiser, but our spaghetti dinner is just for our Pack!  Tickets have been distributed for the dinner, being held on Friday, April 27th, at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Mill Road in EHT.  We ask each Scout to please sell at least five tickets to the dinner to help offset the costs that our Pack has (pinewood derby cars, rank books, advancement, paper products, den supplies, etc.)  More tickets are available from Danielle Summerson, or they can be purchased at the door.

All Scouts should remember to wear their Class A uniform (rank hat, neckerchief and slide, blue shirt- tan for Webelos- and blue pants) to all events, unless told otherwise.  Don't forget to get those rank badges and arrow points sewn on.  We make a wonderful impression when we're all dressed correctly!
