Pack 94 enjoyed an afternoon at the Field of Dreams in Absecon.  Our Scouts learned how children with disabilities can enjoy one of America's favorite past times- along with working on their Disabilities Awareness Belt Loop.  Scouts that attended the April Pack Meeting (and talked to our guest speaker), attended Field of Dreams, and made a poster about disabilities will earn their Belt Loop.  Great job, boys!

EHT Pack 94 runs solely on the efforts of our volunteers- and we need you to help out!  As the Cub Scout Law states, "The Pack helps the Cub Scout grow".  We are currently looking for volunteers to help us out with events, Committee positions such as Secretary, Pack Trainer and Medical Officer, Popcorn Colonel, Website Editor, and Publicity.  Please contact your den leader or our Committee Chair, Dan Quade, when you know how best you can help!  Many hands make the work load light, and we need each family to pitch in to make Pack 94 the best that it can be!

Each year, the pilots from the AC Air Show take time out of their busy schedules to come talk to our Scouts.  Unfortunately, due to a last minute request from the Secretary of the Air Force, our usual morning talk had to be rescheduled.  But- we still get to meet the pilots and see the jets up close the afternoon before the Air Show!

I would like to thank those Scouts that have attended a bike path clean-up at either the April, June, or August clean-ups.  These clean-ups help us to qualify for a mini-grant from the ACUA that pays for our rank books in June.  And if you missed out on doing one- never fear!  There is one more clean-up coming up in October, which we also incorporate into a Bicycling Belt Loop day.  Keep your eyes open for our 2010-2011 calendar when it's released!

On Saturday, September 18th, Scouts are invited to help Jersey Shore Council celebrate 100 years of Scouting in America.  There will be a fun-filled day of rides, food, and activities in Seaside Heights, Ocean County.  Any Scout that would like to attend (and hasn't already registered) needs to contact Mrs. Donchey ASAP so that we can get you signed up!
